FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Workplace Training

Workplace training and development aren't always mandatory, but it certainly is valuable. After all, you wouldn't want your staff performing below par in the workplace. In fact, it is one of the primary reasons why major HR departments are required to regularly review and update their plans, policies, procedures, and programs. And, even if you don't require such programs, having a solid understanding of them can make the difference between success and failure. The following are some of the many benefits of ensuring that your employees undergo workplace training.

First, employers know that workplace training and development help to ensure quality standards. When people work in teams, they are more likely to achieve high levels of quality. In addition, leaders who foster high standards in their teams are also perceived as "unburdened," which is often seen as a good thing - by employers as well as employees. As a result of high quality standards, employers are much less likely to tolerate poor performance - especially from their own staff. Indeed, studies have shown that employee morale improves quite dramatically when high standards and positive attitudes are fostered.

Second, employers know that workplace training and development help to ensure that employees remain productive. When people are given the skills and knowledge that they need, they are more likely to complete projects on time. In addition, employers who regularly provide courses or seminars on relevant topics are seen as "dense," which increase job satisfaction - and profitability. Finally, workers who learn new skills find it easier to perform their duties and responsibilities. This includes new types of assignments, which allow workers to develop and excel in their field.

Third, employers know that workplace training and development help to maintain consistent job performance. When employees have the skills and knowledge they need, they are more likely to apply them when they are required. That is, when new skills or concepts are introduced, employees quickly grasp them and begin to show a willingness to use them in their daily operations. In fact, when new employees are properly trained, companies usually notice a significant improvement in overall job performance.

Fourth, employees say that workplace training and development to help them become more independent. That's because, when you are properly trained, you gain the skills necessary for working as an independent contractor or running your own business. You can even start your own business if you feel comfortable doing so. Employees who have undergone training programs say that they feel capable of performing the tasks they were assigned; in fact, some feel empowered to try their hand at new businesses. Moreover, when employees have access to the right information and tools - such as safety training programs - they are more likely to take these tools and implement them, themselves.

Fifth, employees say that workplace training and development to reduce the occurrence of costly injuries. This is particularly true for those who work in the manufacturing or construction industry. The types of injuries that you might expect, such as repetitive stress injuries (RSI), can be prevented through proper education and training. As we all know, RSI is often caused by the mishandling of dangerous materials. In addition, employees who have the appropriate knowledge are less likely to be injured in construction or manufacturing settings. In addition, when you consider that the majority of employers are now requiring comprehensive safety training for their employees, it is obvious that this aspect is beneficial to all parties.

Sixth, you will notice that most employees say that workplace training and development to improve their morale. This is because when you are motivated, you become more efficient and you are able to do your job better. Most employers recognize this and have put in place specific programs that help improve employee morale. For example, one study showed that the number of sick days generally declined after two months of implementation of a professional development program.

Finally, when employees participate in an online learning program, they are more satisfied with their jobs and are more likely to stay longer in them. In fact, a survey showed that employees who participated in online learning were 10% less likely to leave their jobs within a year. If you want your business to be a success, you must ensure that your employees participate in corporate training and development. In addition, employees who take part in this training are also more loyal, dedicated, and committed to the organization. If you want your business to grow, you need to be sure that all of your employees participate in this training.
